Then join our 5th Annual 30-Day Outdoor Movement Challenge this November! 

Kickstart healthy habits or maintain your current ones as we transition from fall into winter here in Calgary. It’s easy to cozy up inside, but we all know how GOOD it is for our minds, bodies and souls to get out of the house + into the outdoors!

WARNING: Participating in this challenge may boost your immunity, strengthen muscles, enhance vitamin D levels, manage weight, reduce stress + anxiety, improve mood, promote better sleep, combat fatigue, increase clarity… should we go on?!

How This 30-Day Challenge Works

It’s super simple — move your body outside for 30 minutes daily, as often as you want!

You can walk, run, hike, bike, you name it. As long as you’re moving, we’re happy! We encourage you to get outside at least 5x/week. 

When does the challenge take place?

This is a 30-day challenge running from November 1-30, 2025.

Where does the challenge take place?

Anywhere outdoors! This is a self-led challenge with daily accountability + 3 optional in-person meet-ups.

So you can walk around your neighbourhood, explore Calgary parks, bike around the city, hike a mountain trail, or mix it up!

who can participate?

This challenge is open to anyone who lives in or near Calgary — all ages and experience levels are welcome!

If you want to invite someone who does NOT live near Calgary, they’re welcome to join + participate too. However they will not be eligible for in-person meet-ups or local business prizes.

FAQs

can i participate if i don't live in calgary?

Yes — the more, the merrier! You’ll still receive daily accountability + can participate on Instagram for extra motivation. However if you don’t live within driving distance to Calgary, you will not be able to join our in-person meet-ups, and you are not eligible for local business prizes.

Do I have to move every single day?

Inside the Challenge, you’ll set your own goal and will be entered to win prizes every single time you log a daily outdoor activity. So what does that look like for you? We encourage you to move outside at least 5x/week to create a healthy habit. 

How do the local business prizes work?

There’s 1 Grand Prize Draw for people who complete 20+ days of movement, and plenty of Participation Prizes that you’ll enter by completing 1-2 daily actions to increase your chances of winning — all while getting outside + moving your body. We’ll send the full details when you sign up!

Can I start before or after November 1st?

You sure can! Feel free to start before November to start creating your healthy habit ahead of time (but these won’t count towards the challenge). You can join anytime after November 1, because we want to help you MOVE outdoors! And you can still win local business prizes. 

can i participate if I'm travelling in November?

You bet! You can move your body outside anytime, anywhere. So whether you’re at home, on vacation or away on a work trip, you can keep logging your movement.
